Saumya Tandon born on 3rd November 1983 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. She is an Indian actress. She is known for her role in the Sony TV aired soap Aisa Des Hai Mera, where she plays the role of a half-Brit girl named Rusty. Recently she starred in the Imtiaz Ali directed movie Jab We Met, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, where she plays the role of Kareena's sister, Roop. She is also a host for Dance India Dance show aired on Zee TV.
She was the first runner-up at a Femina Cover Girl contest.
